Amy is a new instructor in our program but is not new to teaching. She has worked as a special education professional for years. She had this to say about her love for knitting, "I have always had a love of the fiber arts, inspired by my talented grandmothers. Because I was left-handed, it was challenging for them to teach me. 30 years ago I bought a book for left-handed knitters and the rest is history! I enjoy the relaxing rhythm of knitting and the challenges of new techniques."
