Description: Learn everything you need to know to make delicious sourdough bread at home. This course helps you understand the actual science behind the sourdough craze. Learn how to execute proper stretch-and-fold techniques, manage dough fermentation times, and choose between bread flour versus all-purpose flour.
Materials: All standard baking elements and testing bowls are provided. Every student will receive a jar of active sourdough starter culture to take home.
Instructor Bio: Tonya Karow is an accomplished local home baker and the founder of Bake My Day. Driven by a passion for traditional fermentation methods, she specializes in creating approachable culinary guides that demystify sourdough bread for home cooks.
